畢業於牛津大學，1983年開始從事紀錄片製作，長年為BBC、Channel 4、美國公共電視頻道、日本NHK電視台、Discovery、美國國家地理頻道、歷史頻道等擔任無數獨立紀錄片的導演、企編、製片、監製工作。除了紀錄片製作，Steven最愛的是企劃開發的工作。在製作之外，他也從事各種要教學、顧問與評審工作。它對各種題材的紀錄片都深有研究，曾於11個國家的紀錄片工作坊擔任導師和顧問，並參與無數紀錄片企劃的開發與修正。
Steven現任職於北京大陸橋紀錄片製作公司。

Steven SEIDENBERG has degrees in Chinese Studies from the university of Illinois and London (School of Oriental and African Studies), and in social anthropology from the university of Oxford. After a brief career teaching at Oxford University, Steven was seduced, in 1983, by documentary television.
Since then, he has worked as producer, director, series producer or executive producer on independent production for such broadcasters as the BBC, PBS, Channel 4, SBS, RTE, ITV, NBC and NHK, Discovery Asia and Europe, NGCI, History Channel (US and Canada). His true love is, however, programme development.
Steven simultaneously seeks relevant projects for co-production and seek international partners for co-productions. Key program areas are history, science, human and social issues, wildlife and natural history. LIC have also dipped our toes into factual reality formats. Note: for LIC to co-produce a project it must have “Chinese content”.
