Pat發展製作電視節目，專長為戲劇式紀錄片迷你劇集。他為媒體組織提供領導人訓練，並提供策略顧問服務。他同時致力於影展策劃以及提案活動。
Ferns Productions Inc.擅長製作高成本（Blue-chip）戲劇式紀錄片的迷你劇集，並與其子Andrew FERNS所創立的Ferns Entertainment Inc.合作，主要製作劇情片。Pat與Andrew協力製作的作品包含了得獎的《庫克船長的熱情與探索》與《達爾文的異想世界》，皆為澳、加兩國合製影片。
Pat亦為國際電視領導人才協會的負責人，提供媒體管理的訓練及策略顧問。
身為「提案大會」創始人的Pat，在世界各地舉辦提案大會，地點包含阿得雷德、坎城、廣州、拉姆安拉、台北、特拉維夫、多倫多、維多利亞、中國餘姚。
Pat develops and produces television programs and feature films specializing in drama-documentary mini series. He presents leadership training programs and provides strategic consultation to media organizations. He is engaged in festival management, facilitation and presenting pitching events.
Ferns Productions Inc. specializes in blue-chip documentary-drama mini-series, and works with Ferns Entertainment Inc. run by Pat’s son, Andrew FERNS whose principal focus is drama.
Major series Pat and Andrew have produced together include the award-winning CAPTAIN COOK: OBSESSION AND DISCOVERY and DARWIN’S BRAVE NEW WORLD, both Australia-Canada co-productions.
Pat is a Principal in the International Institute for Television Leadership, providing media executive training and strategic consultation.
As the creator of ‘public pitching’ Pat presents his signature sessions worldwide. Last year his pitching venues included Adelaide, Cannes, Guangzhou, Ramallah, Taipei, Tel Aviv, Toronto, Victoria and Yuyao.
