HAI Tian, founder and CEO of Rare Media, was once a television host. After being a director in CCTV for some years, he founded Rare Media in 2001 and Rare Media grow to the most productive documentary institution in China under his leadership in the past ten years, and HAI has been pursuing the social responsibility and commercial achievements all the time, and he is awarded as the CEO with most potential in China.

Rare Media is a national leading institute which focuses on both production and operation of historical and humanistic documentaries. Founded in 2001, Rare Media have produced documentaries for over 1500 hours and have copyrights for near 30000 hours’ video materials. In addition, Rare Media accumulated rich experiences on producing, distributing and operating Documentaries, Independent Documentaries, and Series Documentaries on special topics.
