CCDF Submission Deadline Extended to JULY 20th!

CNEX Chinese Doc Forum (CCDF) is taking place on Oct. 26th to 30th, 2011, in Taipei, Taiwan. Now it’s open to submission. If you are interested in making documentaries ABOUT CHINESE (including Taiwan, Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore or overseas Chinese), you are welcomed to propose your ideas and shooting plan to CCDF. NO NATIONALITY LIMIT!

The Forum is designed as a platform for filmmakers who pay attention to Chinese culture and society to meet the commissioning editors from internationally renowned broadcasters including the BBC (UK), Arte (France), NHK (Japan), DR TV (Denmark), Discovery Channel, National Geographic, Sundance (US), Phoenix TV (Hong Kong), Sun TV (China), PTS (Taiwan) and CTi TV (Taiwan). If you get selected, CCDF will support your transportation and accommodation fees of travelling to Taipei. 

CCDF will select three ‘Best Pitching Projects’, which will automatically obtain the right to present in other international pitching forums, including Asian Side of the Doc, via CNEX’s support. As an encouragement and recognition, out of the ‘Best Pitching Projects’, one Best Pitch will be awarded a prize of $300,000 NTD (approx. $10,000 USD.)
