IMAMURA Ken-ichi is the executive producer at NHK Enterprise, INC. He works as the producer, centering his focus on international affairs and Asian documentary world.<\/p>\n

He co-produced about 20 documentaries including Planet of Snail, which got the Best Feature-Length Documentary in IDFA 2011 and Fallen City, which was nominated for World Cinema Documentary Competition in Sundance 2013.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

He started working with NHK Enterprises, a subsidiary of NHK, in 2012. As executive producer and chief director of co-productions and programs on global issues, he has been a regular attendance at IDFA, HotDocs, Sheffield Film Festival, Asian Side of the Doc, etc. He also teaches documentary pitching and production in Asian Pitch, Japan Prize, and ABU.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Since 2015, he has been producing \u201cInside Lens\u201d for NHK World TV, which introduces splendid Asian documentaries by Asian filmmakers to the world. Additionally, Imamura is the advisor of Tokyo Docs. Tokyo Docs, established in 2011, remained the sole international documentary festival featuring pitching forum in Japan.<\/p>\n
