Its members collaborate tobuild and strengthen the network among\u00a0Asian documentary filmmakers, while theadministration and oversight of AND are\u00a0being managed by BIFF.<\/p>\n<p>The AND fund is made possible by sixuniversities in the Busan region, Korea,\u00a0along with Busan Bank, the BIFFSupporters Committee, Digital Contents Network\u00a0Association (DCNA), Busan FilmCommission and DMZ Korean International\u00a0Documentary Festival.<\/p>\n<p>To encourage Asian documentary field, ANDlaunched DMZ Fund in 2011, new fund\u00a0grant in collaboration with DMZ KoreanInternational Documentary Festival (aka.DMZ DOCS). DMZ Fund focuses on Asianprojects which consolidate approaches and\u00a0practices in peace building andmitigation of internal or cross-border conflict. This will\u00a0open the diversityto a theme and issue of documentary. Besides DMZ Fund, AND is\u00a0extending thenumber of &#8216;Documentary Post-Production Support&#8217; projects and the\u00a0amount foreach fund thanks to support from the Busan Film Commission (BFC).<\/p>\n<p>During the Busan International FilmFestival, AND holds various programs, including\u00a0the AND Clinics, Guest Lecturesand one-on-one meeting. AND programs introduce\u00a0useful knowledge to Asianfilmmakers to polish up their projects, enhance the\u00a0practical skills, andbroaden insights into documentary markets. AND also organizes several showcasesto present films that were completed with the support of AND\u00a0funds.
