第十三屆CNEX華人紀錄片提案大會
─ 紀錄片正在成為一種全球性的藝術形式和關鍵性的文化實踐 ─
「華人紀錄片提案大會」（CCDF）是一個紀錄片產業平台，採取盛行於國際紀錄片影展間的「提案會」模式，幫助華人紀錄片工作者與國際性的電視台或基金取得創作及發行的交流，進而鏈結合作的可能。
近年來國際媒體對華人社會的題材充滿了高度興致與關注，但因為語言與文化的隔閡，華人獨立導演多半難以進入既有的國際紀錄片提案系統。我們看到太多優秀的華文紀錄片與國際市場無緣，不僅僅肇因於後期的發行渠道不良，也因為創作前期就缺乏對國際市場的了解與企圖。
於此，CNEX（視納華仁基金會）與中華新世代影像文創協會自2010年起舉辦「華人紀錄片提案大會」，每年從上百件報名作品中選出至多20個紀錄片提案，並邀請國際知名的紀錄片產業界人物來台參加，曾經與會的單位包括：美國Sundance、法國Sunny Side of the Doc、英國BBC、法國Arte、德國NDR/ARD、丹麥DR TV、日本NHK、加拿大Hot Docs、亞太Discovery、國家地理頻道、英國Sheffield、鳳凰衛視、騰訊、愛奇藝、優酷、公共電視、大愛電視等電視台與影展的專業人士。活動至今，獲選的提案已陸續與國際頻道或買家進行交易。
今年，CNEX延續過去十二年的成績，籌辦第十三屆的「華人紀錄片提案大會」活動，廣泛徵求有關華人的紀錄片拍攝企劃，並將從中甄選出至多20個提案，進入二個階段的培訓與正式提案活動。
第一階段：培訓工作坊
時間：2022年7月- 9月
入選提案將可參加7月-9月舉辦之「培訓工作坊」，由紀錄片專業講師提供入選提案指導
第二階段：國際提案大會
時間：2022年9月24日- 25日
在為期兩天的活動中，CNEX將邀請到國際知名的紀錄片產業界人士與影展的專業人士，與紀錄片拍攝者進行提案、提問與建議。紀錄片拍攝者可藉由此次機會與國際接軌、商談國際合製的可能性。提案大會最後將由來自各國的專業人士投票選出獎項。獲選提案可由CNEX協助推薦到其他的國際創投會提案，更有機會找到專業製作人展開國際合作與融資。

Thirteenth Annual CNEX Chinese Doc Forum
“Documentary is an increasingly important global art form and a critical cultural practice in the 21st century.”
CNEX Chinese Documentary Forum (CCDF) is a professional platform created to support documentary filmmaking. Modeled after international documentary pitching forums, CCDF connects Chinese filmmakers with international commissioning editors, buyers or funders in order to facilitate international co-production.
Over the years, there’s been a growing interest from the international community in films related to Chinese cultures and societies. However, with language barriers, Chinese independent filmmakers have a hard time entering into and participating in the international documentary markets. Chinese filmmakers have not been able to take full advantage of the resources provided by the international film markets; additionally, Chinese filmmakers face a narrow or under-developed production and distribution channel. Chinese filmmakers also lack intention or understanding of the international documentary market.
CNEX Foundation, co-organized with Chinese Image Visual Industry and Creation Society, created the first annual CNEX Chinese Documentary Forum (CCDF) in 2010. Since then, twenty out of over hundreds of Chinese projects are selected each year where filmmakers have the opportunity to connect with internationally renowned documentary film professionals and commissioning editors, including representatives from Sundance (USA), Sunny Side of the Docs (France), BBC (UK), Arte (France), NDR/ARD (Germany), IDFA (Netherlands), DR TV (Denmark), HotDocs (Canada), NHK (Japan), Discovery (Asia), National Geographic (Asia), Sheffield Doc/Fest (UK), Phoenix TV (HK), Tencent (CN), iQIYI (CN), Youku Tudou (CN), PTS (Taiwan), and DaAi TV (Taiwan). Since the inception of the first CCDF, many projects selected into CCDFhave received funding, support and contracts with international producers, broadcasters and buyers.
In an effort to repeat the success of the last twelve years, CNEX organizes the thirteenth annual CNEX Chinese Doc Forum and seeks projects about Chinese culture or society. Up to 20 projects will have the opportunity to pitch and receive pitch training at the 2022 CCDF, which will take place from September 24 to 25.
CCDF-13 Dates & Events
- Stage 1: Training Workshop
July – September
Selected projects can be automatically entered to participate in CCDF training workshop which will take place in July to September. Participants can have face-to-face meetings with professional lecturers to enhance pitching and storytelling skills.
- Stage 2: Pitching Forum
September 24- 25 2022
During the 2-day pitching forum, filmmakers will pitch to a panel of international commissioning editors, funders and buyers. Filmmakers will explore the international market and international co-production opportunities with industry professionals and commissioning editors at the forum. Projects will be awarded with cash prizes and opportunities to present at other international pitching events.
